Our Southport Art Walk (July 2010) was a success and our Visiting Artists Program is off to a great start with the inclusion of The British School of Chicago.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The remainder of 2010 will include a continuation of the exhibit at the Apollo Theatre and plans for Art Walks in 2011 (Highland Park, Southport and Evanston). Congrats to Levi Kreis for Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award in the Broadway production of Million Dollar Quartet!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Chicago production will continue as long as audiences support it. Meet the artist at the free reception on Fri. Oct. 16 (5 - 7 pm). Congrats to Million Dollar Quartet ensemble for their Jeff nomination. Word is out that the show is also going to Broadway!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Second Annual Evanston Art Walk, a juried exhibition of art by Illinois artists displayed in shops windows along Central Street in Evanston, IL through the month of October 2009.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The event also features a Benefit, Silent Auction and Outstanding Contributions to the Arts Award presented to Joanna Pinsky, Founder/Director of Art Encounter on October 1, 2009 (7 - 9 pm) at Symphony's Cafe, 1945 Central Street, Evanston, IL.
